Production & Technical Theatre

In her time at Boston College, Liv was trained in a breadth of theatre production and technical skills. She served as the Technical Director for her student-run theatre production board, the Dramatics Society, acted as Dramaturg on a production of “Spoon River Anthology,” and took lab courses in electrics, carpentry, puppet construction and performance, and costume construction.

The Boston College

Dramatics Society

Liv spent all four years of her college career as an executive board member of the Boston College Dramatics Society, and the DS was the most formative element of her BC experience. The DS is entirely student-run and produces two full-scale productions plus a variety of special projects each academic year. The board consists of roughly 12-16 students across all four years, each of whom plays an essential role in every project from start to finish. Members gain significant experience in planning, budgeting, design, collaboration, and ad hoc tasks. At left is a poster for the DS’s 2021 production of “Spring Awakening",” designed by Emma Thompson.

Liv served as the Technical Director for the Dramatics Society. Shown here are images gathered throughout her work on “Spring Awakening.”
